The K’s are back! Time has been on fast forward since 2019 when their oldest son was born. I had the honor of helping them celebrate and document that tender, precious moment in time. You can see that session here. I loved seeing their growing little guy for his sitter and one year sessions followed by a family session. Some favorites of mine for sure! If all of that wasn’t special enough, we got to do it again, with a newborn session for little brother, his sitter, one year, mommy+me, and family session. I cannot even begin to tell you how special it is to photograph every single one of those sessions and to now have them back!
I love…love…love their summer photography session in Parker, Colorado. It is a favorite session of theirs to date! Those boys are growing so big and handsome, and their family love radiates like the warm, glowing sun. Mama chose the perfect wardrobe for her men, which looks so good among the summer colors. Here’s more from Mama K!
How old are your kiddos?
R (the big brother) just turned five and R (the little brother) will be three at the end of August.
What does your family enjoy doing together?
We enjoy playing golf together. Little brother \ R is obsessed with golf; Big brother R likes to ride in the cart and explore the outdoors. We also enjoy going for walks or scooter/bike rides around our neighborhood. We love going to the pool and swimming/splashing around. We like to play sports in the backyard, spend time with extended family, travel anywhere with a beach or a pool, and go on Disney rides.
What makes you guys laugh together?
When the boys do or say something silly, that is when we laugh the most. Also, when Daddy wrestles with the boys at bedtime; we all get a kick out of that.
What is one thing about this season of life that you don’t want to forget?
I don’t want to forget the boys’ zest for life. They are so inquisitive and love to explore and learn. Big brother R is in a season of trying to learn and absorb as much as humanly possible. He often knows more than I do about animals and sea life. It is amazing to watch. And Little brother R is just developing and learning something new every day, especially if it has anything to do with sports. While this season can be difficult at times with tantrums, sibling fights and interrupted sleep, I hope I never forget the sweet moments of this season because I know it won’t last forever.
Describe what your family means to you.
My family is the greatest gift from God and I am so grateful for each one of them.
K Family, you bring so much beauty to my blog. It has been an honor to serve you for the past five years and I hope for many more!
