Your newborn session will be done in your home and I will bring everything. Pictures of your family with baby are included, if you wish. ALL of your high resolution digital images are also included. That means you don't have to choose your favorites - you get them all!

Will my home photograph well?
I photograph using natural light. Your home will work perfectly if you have good window light. For most of the images, baby will be on a beanbag or wood floor drop near a bright window and your home will not be part of the image at all. Pictures with family will show your home a bit, but usually with a tight crop so you don't have to worry about picking up much or your decor. If the baby's nursery has adequate natural light, you are welcome to request images in there. If you do not feel your home has good window light, let me know and we can discuss an alternative.
What do you bring?
I bring everything! All wraps, hats, and headbands for baby are included. I also bring props such as baskets and bowls, wood floor drops, furs, blankets, and layers that all compliment one another. I gravitate toward soft, neutral colors and earth tones. Each set-up has a carefully selected color palette that tells a subtle and beautiful color story. I bring more than we will use; this allows you to select your favorites.
When should I schedule?
Since space is limited, I recommend reserving your session now. We will schedule your session for one week after your due date to hold your spot. It is to be expected that baby may come early or late. For this reason, I always remain flexible for a date change. If your baby has already been born, contact me to check for availability! I recommend that you photograph your baby within the first fourteen days. However, newborn sessions can be done up to twelve weeks if needed.
