My family holds a place in my heart that is untouched by the rest of the world. How could I ever put my love for them into words? From the instant they stole my heart, to all the little moments in life that make it beat swiftly, I am overwhelmed by an explosion of love that I cannot contain.
Maybe you also have a hard time putting your love into words. I once read an article saying that children who see themselves loved in pictures as they grow up, feel more loved. This has become the bedrock of what I do for others. Since 2012 I've observed a common thread in all the families I photograph and I've developed a motto: "Life isn't always picture perfect, but the love a family shares is." I want my clients to forever have reminders of that through beautiful maternity, newborn, baby, family, or high school senior photography...

I adore being a boy mom! When my three boys were little, I loved holding their tiny hands in mine, snuggling them, and giving them a sense of security that reassured them that they would always be cared for. Now, my little boys have grown into young men who no longer need me like they used to. May I have some Kleenex, please? It is from the depths of silently wishing I could hold onto every fleeting moment of their childhood that I am inspired to create beautiful storytelling photos for your family.

These days, I'm navigating early adulthood with my youngest son, visiting my middle son in college, celebrating the arrival of my oldest son and his wife's first baby, or laughing with my husband. I enjoy cooking healthy meals for my family, writing, and going deep as a student of the Bible who has been captivated by its personal message--the grace and love of Jesus.
