You may remember them from their most recent fall maternity session… or perhaps little E’s one year or newborn session… or even their very first maternity session back in 2018. A look back in time becomes a very emotional experience for a family like the L’s, and I just love that I can be a small part of helping to preserve these special memories. This time they joined me for such a joy filled reason! Drum roll, please…
The spotlight of this session is brand new, baby Austin! Welcome to the family, little guy. He’s was a peanut, weighing in at 6 pounds, five ounces at birth. Here’s more about him from Mom:
Tell me about the anticipation of his arrival.
Oh my gosh, we absolutely could not wait to meet our little boy. We had been telling E for months about getting a brother, and were dying for her to meet him! I swear the last month felt like six waiting on him to arrive!
How was your delivery experience?
My delivery was not at all what I expected. We ended up having an emergency C-section. We are just so thankful for our doctors and nurses who made the decision quickly and helped us bring a healthy little boy into the world.
What does adding Austin to your family of four mean to you?
We always knew we wanted two kids, and getting a little boy this time around has been more than we could have ever dreamed of (especially for my husband!). Our family feels complete by adding our little man.
Describe his personality.
Austin is just so sweet and snuggly! He is a very content and happy baby. A perfect addition to our family!
