Senior Pictures in Downtown Castle Rock | Marcus

I’ve never had a single person (besides my kids) in front of my camera more than this guy! Meet Marcus! No introductions are actually needed because Marcus has been on my blog for YEARS! If you follow me, you’ve seen him many times before.

Back in the day, our families carpooled our kids to school together. However, with their four, and my three, we were short a seat. So I’d watch Marcus and my youngest son a few days a week while the school aged kids were driven to school. We’d go on walks and stroller rides…and I often brought my camera! Here are a few favorite pictures from those early years, and a wonderful trip down memory lane.

Now Marcus is all grown, and it’s delightful to have had the privilege to be there for it. He’s an incoming high school senior and will be the last (but not the least) kid in his family to graduate high school.

You can look back on a few past sessions below:

I’m not sure if Marcus’ parents will have more tears or more celebration to watch their youngest son embark on all the special memories that come with your last year of high school, and then to finally be able to receive his diploma at the end of the school year. It will probably be a little of both, if I had to guess.

Learn a little more about Marcus before I show off his amazing senior pictures.

What will you miss about high school?

I think I will miss the fun parts like hanging out with my friends and messing around in class.

Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after graduation?

I’m going to look into and research trades.

What are some of your favorite childhood memories?

I enjoyed playing sports and climbing trees as a kid.

Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.

I hope that i can improve upon myself.

If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?

Spend more time outside.

Marcus, you’ve gone from the cutest kid, to a wonderful young man. Thanks for your crazy antics at your sessions all these years. You’ve kept me on my toes, and made the sessions so fun and memorable. Cheers to your senior year, my young friend!
