Jared is no stranger here, but this exciting milestone is a new one to him! He’s a high school senior! School is rolling in and students all across Colorado are grabbing the books and the school supplies and hitting the classroom once again. Whether they are experiencing nerves, excitement, or reservation about the upcoming year, one thing I know for sure: our high school seniors are anticipating the completion of many years of hard work with just one short school year left. I’m glad we get a little more time with them before they spread their wings and fly, and I think Jared’s family would agree.
Jared has an interest in auto mechanics, which is such a good fit for him! He’s already taken a number of classes, and plans to keep going as a career path. That is so awesome!

Tell me about your interest in auto mechanics.
I love working with my hands and problem solving and love cars.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after you graduate?
Start working as a mechanic and eventually open my own auto shop.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
Hanging out with friends and camping with my family.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
Work hard and you’ll get to where you want to be.
