I love when clients return, and especially when they bring their whole family with them! Meet the L Family! Their son turned one last year and we celebrated with a smash cake session! You can see all the adorableness here. Although mama L’s brother and his wife used to live in Colorado, they recently moved. So their visit “back home” was extra special and an occasion to celebrate their closeness with an extended family session. Those two toddler cousins together…oh my goodness!! They are the sweetest, and will be the best buds as they grow up. Although two under two gave us some unique challenges on this early summer morning session, we won them over with silly antics and fun that gave us some smiles in-between the almost two year old melt downs and tears.
Here’s more from mama L!
How old are the two kiddos?
T just turned 21 months old and V is almost 18 months old. It’s so special that they are only three months apart. When we are all together we wonder in amazement how twin parents do it, because they are always running off in different directions!!
What does your extended family enjoy doing together?
We are huge Denver sports fans and we like to do fun things with the kids like the zoo and aquarium!
What makes you guys laugh together?
We have funny family traditions around the holidays and long-running inside jokes. One such example is a dramatic reading of the “What Does the Fox Say?” book at Thanksgiving, hahaha!!
What is one thing about this season of life that you don’t want to forget?
The kids will only be young once and these are magical years!
Describe what your family means to you.
Memories and legacy are everything. T and D [the adult siblings] know this well because they lost their father before his time. It makes the decision to prioritize family an easy one.
L’s and extended family, what an honor to capture your special relationships in light of all that you shared…and I’d love to be a fly on the wall during your dramatic readings at Thanksgiving! I hope it won’t be long before the cousins are laughing and playing together once again at the next family visit. Enjoy your sneak peek!
