Theirs is an interesting story of hellos and goodbyes. Four years ago, a beautiful baby boy became part of this family’s life. Hello little one! I had the privilege of helping to welcome him – see his newborn session here. Exactly one year later, this family celebrated his first birthday with a tee-pee and a smash cake – see his smash cake session here …and… their family session here. By this time, they were preparing to return to France where mom’s family lives. Goodbyes can be hard, but hellos to family abroad are simply glorious. I was very happy for them.
Now, fast forward a couple years. I received their email all the way from France that another baby had joined their family! Hooray! Hello little one number two! And a year later I received another email to say that some difficult goodbyes were made in France, and some hellos were made again here in the US. They are back!
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know that I love to serve my families year after year, occasion after occasion. The S Family’s return to the US has made me so happy. Their past sessions are some of my all time favorites, and I’m delighted to create more beautiful keepsakes of their family as their children grow. I’m super grateful they would entrust me with this mission.
At the end of the S Family’s session in beautiful Castle Pines, Colorado, Mamie made an appearance. Mamie is grandma in French. She’s here’s for a visit. Hello Mamie from France! Although she doesn’t speak English, love is a universal language and she had plenty of it to give her sweet grand babies without any direction from me at all.
