Lone Tree New Baby in Home Photography | Emmett

Meet precious Emmett!  Born over 9 pounds and a week late, this little guy is relaxed and so easy going!  Their love story began in France, where mom was born and raised.  The french they spoke to one another while I was around was beautiful sounding to my ears!  Dad was so kind to answer these questions about the special days leading up to his arrival and what it was like to finally to meet their little guy.

Describe your pregnancy.  Did he arrive early/late or on time?

Emmett was an active kiddo even before he showed up, which made sense since he was such a big boy and was running out of real estate. He came one week late.

Where did you deliver and tell me a little about the day he was born/your delivery.

S delivered at Sky Ridge hospital. It was a fourteen hour day to convince him to come, but he quickly latched onto his mom and dad without hardly any fussing once he arrived.

What does adding little Emmett to your family mean to you?

With our respective families in two separate countries, S and I have been fighting since the beginning to make a family of our own, which hasn’t been a simple task. Emmett showing up gives is a sense that we’ve finally made it.

Describe Emmett’s personality.

Little guy is easy going and has spared us all of the typical caprices expected of newborns. He likes to sleep at night and look around in the morning, especially at the family cat.

When will he meet his family in France?

Le Petit Prince gets to meet his French family this September.

Ahhh… I LOVE that, “Le Petit Prince!”  I don’t even need to understand French to know what dad said… he’s their little prince <heart melting>. I hope visiting Emmett’s extended family in France is a wonderful time, come September, and that every moment you spend with him is treasured.  Congratulations, S Family!  Enjoy your sneak peek.
