Mountain Vista High School Senior Pictures in Highlands Ranch, Colorado | Macy

Meet Macy! She’s Lily’s younger sister who was featured here when she was a senior too! Macy is starting her senior year at Mountain Vista High School soon. She’s an athlete with a charming personality and a sweet soul. I love that mom described her as fierce on the soccer field, a side of Macy I didn’t get to see while she was laughing and spinning and posing like a gorgeous model. I love her session!

Here’s more about Macy!

Tell me about your work at an elementary school.

I am a program aide which entails me helping around wherever needed, I help run gym games, check kids in and out, play with them outside, etc. This job has worked really well for me because the hours are very flexible due to my busy schedule with school and soccer. It has helped teach me patience and learn how to interact with all different ages.

Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after graduation?

After graduation, I am going to attend college and study nursing. I am not sure where I want to go yet, but I have been looking around at different schools.

What are some of your favorite childhood memories?

Some of my favorite childhood memories are family vacations. Every summer, my family gets together and goes on some sort of beach vacation. This is one thing I have always looked forward to and I am never disappointed. I get to see family that lives far and relax on the beach which is my favorite.

Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.

Senior year, I want to be involved in as many activities as I can like attending football games, playing on the soccer team and social events. Also, I want to make as many new friends as I can because it makes school feel a lot less boring.

If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?

If I could tell my younger self one thing, it would be to not take time for granted. Looking back on these past years of high school, my first thought is always how fast it has gone by. Life is going to keep moving faster and faster and using my time wisely will help me live to my fullest potential.

What a wise young lady you are Macy! I hope your pursuit of nursing lands you in the place you are meant to be. I hope you enjoy everything about your senior year (and your sneak peek)!
