She’s been dreaming about her high school senior pictures since middle school. Meet Annabella! No pressure, right? <giggle> I couldn’t be more delighted with Annabella’s session. Her sneak peek is humungous because I have so many favorites. When she said she would bring a pink chair and wanted pictures as the sun was setting, I knew it would be a special session.
Annabella is a musician, and I was serenaded by her, surrounded by beauty and nature. It’s so fun when seniors bring instruments to their sessions! I am so impressed with Annabella’s talent. Here’s more from her!
Tell me about your love for music.
Music is a huge part of what makes me who I am. It is a passion of mine, which started in the 6th grade when I joined choir and has continued on into high school. I currently sing in my high school’s choir and enjoy playing instruments, which include the ukulele, guitar, & piano, along with giving music lessons.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after graduation?
My plan after graduation is to go to school for music education. I want to pursue this occupation to help others connect with music, and I love how you can form connections with other people through music.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
One of my favorite childhood memories was going to Christmas Eve mass and then afterward going to my Great Grandma’s house for a Christmas party with relatives. It was a house full of sometimes up to 70 people coming together to celebrate Christmas. My Great Grandma passed away last summer, but I will always cherish the memories I made with her.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.
I hope to enjoy my last year of high school and prepare myself for the next chapter of life.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
If I could tell my younger self something, it would be to always stay true to your heart. Every little hardship you encounter will pass, so focus on what makes you the happiest.
Annabella, best wishes for a fantastic senior year!
