Thunder Ridge High School Senior Pictures in Highlands Ranch, Colorado | Ashley

Meet Ashley! We had our first solo session together, and it was wonderful. I’ve been photographing Ashley since 2106, and I adore her and her family. You can visit their last family session here. And you may remember her from her and her twin sister’s sweet 16 rain session here. That post got high traffic on my site because of how incredible it was! How special it was to spend time with just Ashley. She’s an impressive young lady who rolls up her sleeves and gets the job done. She’s also a mom to ducks! Here’s more about Ashley!

Tell me about getting a letter in academics and your pet ducks.

I lettered in academics my first time in the Spring of my Sophomore year by earning a 3.75 or higher during my first three semesters and will be eligible to earn a second letter in this coming fall. Math and history are my favorite subjects and I’ve taken a few college courses.

At the beginning of April, my family and I adopted four cute ducklings, and we love them so much! Their names are Puddle, Pip-squeak, Jet, and James Pond, and my sisters and I have been doing our best to take care of them.

Do you have any thoughts on where you’d like to go to college?

I’m still looking for colleges, but I know that I’d like to major in a field math related and may go into finance.

What are some of your favorite childhood memories?

Some of my favorite childhood memories are when I went on father-daughter dates or mother-daughter dates so I could spend more time with my parents. We would go to very cool places and sometimes very nice restaurants, which made it more memorable.

Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish in your senior year.

I hope to do well in my classes this year and make more friends.

If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?

One thing I’d like to tell my younger self is that even though a lot of people may not be interested in some subjects you may like, it’s still okay to enjoy them yourself.

Ashley, you are amazing, and I am excited for your senior year. I hope you will be able to letter again and admire the hard work it has taken to get here. Best wishes for an awesome senior year!
