When you want to keep your little ones little, it seems that time goes by extra fast. Sawyer is back! He’s a Baby Plan member who just celebrated his first birthday. Queue the smash cake! I’ve adored this family since their very first newborn session with their older son. Sawyer is baby #2, and I can’t believe how fast he’s gone from newborn, to sitter, to a one year old. What are Sawyer’s favorite things to do?
Sawyer loves reading books, throwing balls, chasing toy cars, playing peek-a-boo, and eating.
What makes him laugh?
He thinks most things his brother, E, does are pretty funny. He likes bouncing and dancing, and has a cute, little laugh when being tickled!
How did you celebrate his first birthday?
To celebrate his birthday, we had a “One with Nature” party with some friends and family. He tried cake for the first time and was a big fan. We also spent some time as a family at a local indoor play space.
What are some of his recent milestones?
Sawyer is always on the move. He likes crawling fast, standing up, and getting into anything he can! He loves climbing up the stairs and is starting to try to stand on his own. He loves being loud and says “Mama” and “Dada”.
What is it like to be a mom to this sweet little boy?
Being so busy, Sawyer keeps us on our toes, but he can also be so sweet and snuggly. We love watching him learn and discover new things and are excited to see how his personality continues to develop as he grows.
