Meet Caley, my niece! She’s an incoming high school senior at Lutheran High School in Parker, Colorado, class of 2024. This girl has it all, including my heart! She generously shares her beauty and talent with others through dance, art, and music. While we were taking these pictures, I couldn’t help but see the young girl I watched grow up in the middle of all her maturity and beauty that has blossomed while she’s been in high school. Tell me about your love for dance, art, and music.
I’ve always loved to express myself through dance, art, and music. They are such beautiful forms of expression, allowing us to connect with ourselves and others in ways that words can’t always capture. I love how these can all evoke so many different emotions and inspire us to see the world in new and exciting ways.
Describe yourself in three words.
I’m determined, creative, and organized.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
Some of my favorite childhood memories are hanging out with my family. I cherish how close we are and have made many memories that will stay with me forever.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.
For my senior year I hope to grow in my faith and strengthen my walk with the Lord.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
If I could give advice to my younger self, I would say to cherish the present moment and don’t worry too much about the future. It’s easy to get caught up in planning and preparing for what’s to come, but it’s important to remember to enjoy the journey and appreciate the present. Life is unpredictable, and sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones we never planned for.
