She is wise beyond her years, and a girl after my own heart (don’t miss that Bible shot – LOVE IT!). She loves the Lord, is gifted with musical talent, has HER OWN rifle (wow), and has been taking college courses to earn dual credit for the last couple years. Meet Ronelle! Her bother graduated a couple years ago and was on my blog too – you may remember him here. And I just adored having the entire family in front of my camera at the end of last summer. Now it’s Ronelle’s turn to be in the spotlight! She’s a high school senior at Colorado Early Colleges with her sights set on the veterinary field. I’m so delighted she answered a few questions so you can get to know this adorable girl.
Tell me about your love for the violin.
I love playing violin because I have always connected with music. I also love the beautiful songs you can create with it. I have played violin for nine years.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after you graduate?
My plan is to graduate, take a year off, and then go to a Veterinary Technician school in Colorado Springs. Take the 2 year course there and get my veterinary technician degree.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.
During senior year I hope to finish strong, enjoy time with friends, and save lots of money.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
If I could tell my younger self one thing I would tell myself to remember it’s ok to mess up. You learn from your mistakes. Just keep taking each step you can for God and never give up.
Ronelle, best wishes for an amazing senior year!
