Photographing seniors in the winter in Parker, Colorado | Jesse

Meet Jesse!  He’s ambitious and his goals are admirable.  He thought he’d graduate next year, but made a decision to complete high school with a few less college credits than originally planned.  This decision will launch him into his future goals even quicker and sounds like a fabulous move on his part.  He’s another one of my seniors that attends high school where he can get dual college credit.  It’s quite an amazing program and so is Jesse (amazing that is)!  His decision to graduate with his class means he needed senior pictures in January!  This also meant snow!  I just love his winter session.

Jesse is a musician and that super cool 1980’s Chevy pickup truck is something he and his dad purchased to work on together.  His session images have so much meaning and sentiment with the truck and the guitar.  One thing I also loved about Jesse’s session is that his dad came along too.  You cannot look at these images without noticing the incredible beard he’s able to grow!  Quite impressive!  He’s enjoys weightlifting, hiking, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

I’m pretty far removed from fully remembering what it is like to be a high school senior.  But I do remember the excitement of being nearly done, having the end in sight, and looking forward to a future of endless possibilities.  I also remember a little bit of the apprehension of the unknown.  But I have the feeling that Jesse is making strides forward with a great deal of confidence!

Jesse and family, I’m proud of where Jesse is heading and appreciate his commitment to fulfill God’s call on his life – what a blessing to see.  I hope these short months leading up to graduation are full of meaning and will be always treasured as the days before Jesse launches into his future.  Enjoy your sneak peek!
