Meet Jess, a high school senior at Legend High School in Parker, Colorado! She manages the boy’s football, wrestling, and rugby teams at her school. She loves being on the field so much that she’d like to become an athletic trainer. Here’s more about Jess!
Tell me about being a team manager at Legend.
It is a lot of fun and you create great bonds with all the boys and become just like family.
How has the pandemic changed your thinking about school, your future, or just life in general?
It has made me become closer with my friends and family.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after you graduate?
I want to be an athletic trainer.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.
I hope to do great in my athletic training class this year.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
I would tell myself to not hold back and just go do what you want to do.
