A perfect seven pounds, two ounces of miracle was added to this family! Meet little Zene (rhymes with Renee). It was such a joy to revisit their adorable home and sweet family in celebration of their second daughter’s birth. I also had the honor of photographing big sister as a newborn! What we got then, and what we got now, were both simply precious and what every parent needs in order to remember how tiny their newborn was within the first weeks of life. Here’s more from mom.
Describe your pregnancy.
The pregnancy had its ups and downs. Being pregnant in the middle of a pandemic was certainly scary but it also gave us something so precious to look forward to. We are glad that overall it was a healthy, uncomplicated pregnancy and we now have our beautiful Zene with us. She too exactly like her older sister came four days early.
What does adding Zene to your family of mean to you?
She is the perfect little addition to our family. Her big sister S absolutely adores her. We cannot wait to see our girls start to bond with each other.
Describe Zene’s personality.
She has a total zen personality so far. She seems to be a calm baby.
How does big sister like the new baby?
Big sister S adores her little sister. She calls her baby Zenzen. She loves soothing baby Z with the pacifier, helps give her the bottle and even wants to help change her diapers. She can’t wait for baby Z to grow up a little and play with her.
