He’s a Baby Plan member and I’ve adored photographing all of little Everett’s milestones! He was so sleepy as a newborn, precious and full of smiles as a 6 month old, and now he’s got a sweet personality that takes so much interest in the world around him as a one year old. I visited Everett and his mom at his house in Parker, Colorado. He read books, played in his nursery, and celebrated his first birthday with a simple (adorable) smash cake! He is the sweetest, and has a wonderful Mom and Dad.
What are Everett’s favorite things to do?
Everett likes to read books, play with balls and blocks, listen to music, wrestle with daddy, and go to Target with mom.
Is he more of a Mommy’s or Daddy’s boy?
Well, I would like to say Mommy since we spend all day together, but he sure loves it when Daddy gets home from work! He likes getting love and snuggles from Mom, and playing and being silly with Dad.
Has he taken his first steps?
Everett is not walking yet. He likes to push things around and walk holding onto our hands, so those first steps on his own will probably be coming soon!
Tell me what it’s like to be a mom to this sweet little boy.
Before he arrived, I was, of course, wondering what life was going to be like with him in it. Now it’s hard to remember life without him! He is such a sweet, smart, and silly boy. He makes each day fun and interesting, and I love being his mom!
What makes Everett laugh?
Everett loves to be silly, so he laughs at funny faces and voices that he (or mom and dad) makes. He thinks it’s funny to be tickled, bounce on dad’s shoulders, and hang upside down.
Everett, Happy Birthday, little guy! You are getting cuter with each milestone. Thank you for being such a good sport with each of your sessions! High five little man.
