Newborn Boy Photography | Everett

The sweet smell of his newborn head, his tiny fingers and toes, and his precious newborn cry are a joy beyond words.  Meet little Everett!  Getting little to no sleep for his parents is a small sacrifice with ginormous rewards.  Their love was born and I got to be a small part of remembering a moment in time that will forever etched in the treasury of their hearts.  Here’s more about Everett.

Describe your pregnancy.  Did he arrive early/late or on time?

My pregnancy went pretty smoothly. I didn’t have any major complications, and luckily hardly any morning sickness! I also didn’t have any weird cravings, but did drink a lot of raspberry lemonade! We did not find out the gender ahead of time, but I carried him round and in front, so a lot of people had been guessing that it was a boy. They were right! He arrived 10 days early on February 4th.

Tell me a little about the day he was born.

We delivered at Sky Ridge on the evening of February 4th. I had worked all day and was starting to feel a little different by the end of the day. I finally realized that I was having contractions and texted my husband at work around 5:00 to let him know that it was probably time. By the time he got home, my water had broken and we called the doctor to let her know. My contractions weren’t very close together at that time, so she said that we should head in to the hospital in about an hour. So we got everything ready to go, and left our house around 7:00 pm. By that time, my contractions were speeding up, and I was getting pretty uncomfortable. We checked in to the hospital about 7:20. Everything went very quickly from there, and he arrived at 8:21 pm!

What does adding Everett to your family of mean to you?

We are so happy to have Everett join our family! We decided to wait a little longer to have children due to finishing our education and moving to a new state and new jobs. We definitely feel lucky to have him now that he is here!

Describe his personality.

Everett is a pretty laid back baby. He really only gets upset when he is hungry or during diaper changes. He is a sleepy guy and seems to be able to sleep through pretty much anything! We are looking forward to seeing how his personality develops as he learns and grows.

I hope every single day is enjoyed, as hard as parenting may be at times.  Congratulations to you, R Family.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
