I have high respect for this young man! Meet Mitchell; he goes by Mitch. He’s amazing on the soccer field (he’s been a goal keeper in the past) and he’s also on the swim team. He is a team player and leads and supports his teammates to the degree of extreme self-sacrifice and commitment. Mitch is also a member of DECA, where young people are prepared as leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Here’s more about Mitch.
Tell me about your passions.
I am passionate about sports, specifically swimming, and business.
Can you tell me a little about DECA and why you enjoy it?
DECA is a business club where you participate in role plays with business related problems to a judge. I enjoy this because of the people I get to do it with and it is really fun to compete in.
Do you have any thoughts on where you would like to go to college and what you want to study?
I’ve applied to Baylor and Colorado State and been accepted into Kansas and Nebraska and plan to study business administration.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
My favorite childhood memories are playing at the park across the street with my friends every day.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.
Have a great year that I can remember, and try to hold off “senoritis” to enjoy my last year of high school.
Finish this sentence: Someday I will… hopefully be successful with a great family and job.
Mitch, thanks for showing up to all the variety soccer games this year to cheer on your teammates! I know having your support means the world to them! You have all the ingredients for success, and I wish you a fabulous senior year and an even better future that awaits!
