I’ve had the joy of photographing Libby and her family, I think, since she was seven years old—or has it been even longer? Every few years we’d meet again on their beautiful property to capture another season of life together. Somewhere along the way, we even snuck in a few gymnastics portraits because that’s been such a big part of who Libby is.
If you’ve spent any time on my website, you may even recognize Libby. She’s featured on my homepage with her mom and sisters alongside one of my favorite client reviews. Watching families grow over the years is one of the greatest gifts of what I do.
Now here she is… a senior.
Libby attends Ponderosa High School and is part of the Class of 2027. She competes in gymnastics for her school and has also competed in club gymnastics over the years. Oh, and she loves cats.
One of my favorite parts of the session was discovering how beautiful the creek looked that evening. We climbed down the rocks, carried an old wooden chair into the water, and found the perfect spot among the stones. A light breeze kept us comfortable, and dipping her toes into the cool water was a highlight.
