Senior year brings all kinds of emotions! Excitement, pride of accomplishments, and anticipation are a few. Meet Nevanna! She’s a senior at Chaparral High School. School begins soon, and I cannot wait for these seniors to experience all the firsts, lasts, and exciting things that accompany senior year. Nevanna is on the varsity softball team, which tells me she’s really good!

Tell me about your love for softball.
I love being involved in the game. No matter what position, everyone is needed. I love the leadership it has taught me.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after graduation?
I want to further my knowledge in special education.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
My favorite childhood memories are living in Oklahoma, driving to tournaments, and being a kid in school.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish in your senior year.
I hope to find my identity and who I am.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to enjoy the present because it quickly becomes the past!
