Summer is rich in color with lots of green! If you’re photographing this time of year, I recommend wearing a contrasting color to green. How about the lovely blues this family is wearing?
The P’s are back! Last year they were decking the halls with their gorgeous December session, but this year the temperatures are a little warmer and their family just a little older in this incredible Castle Pines location not too far from their home. I’ve been photographing this sweet family since little E was a newborn. Her family adored her then, and still adores her now. She’s a joy to them! And they are a blessing to me!
Change is on the horizon for this family, as their oldest, S, prepares for college. It won’t be long before they will rely on FaceTime and text messages to keep in touch. This family travels a lot, so even though this is huge for them, I can’t imagine they will have to endure terribly long stretches inbetween visits. That’s so wonderful! Here’s more about the P’s:
How old are your kiddos?
S is 18, D is 10, E turned 4 on August 1!
What does your family enjoy doing together?
Family movie nights, cuddles, dance parties and traveling! We are frequent flyers and the kids are always sad when our adventures are over and we have to come home.
What makes you guys laugh together?
Goofy songs and dances, dad jokes and game nights. We also have a funny voice we use to talk for our dog (Izze). Izze is always very close to us and wants cuddles constantly. When we are having conversations someone will start talking in the Izze voice and add to the conversation. Always makes us laugh to hear what Izze is thinking.
What is one thing about this season of life that you don’t want to forget?
Watching the girls at all different ages and how they interact. They all see the world through a different lens. I love watching them learn, explore and grow.
