High Senior Girl Class of 2023 | Liana

There’s so much I could say about this special girl. I’ve known her since she was around four years old. She’s got a charming way about her, and she’s so intelligent. She loves to read, and she’s a great writer. She’s graduating high school next year, class of 2023. That means it’s time for senior pictures!

One of the difficult parts of her story is losing her dad to ALS last year. The location she chose for her pictures was the same place we did family pictures right after he was diagnosed. You can visit that session by clicking here. The road has been hard, but Liana takes comfort in knowing she will see her dad again. Their most recent family session is here. You will see her embracing his picture below, and the Bible she’s holding belonged to him. The page she opened to for the picture was a page on which he wrote her name because the verse reminded him of his daughter. So special!

Here’s more from Liana:

Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after you graduate?

After graduation, I plan to go to college in Fort Collins and study global affairs, and maybe study abroad for a few years.

What are some of your favorite childhood memories?

Many of my favorite childhood memories are during a visit to Japan and seeing my family there. I’ve made lots of fun memories there, and Japan was the last place I was able to go on vacation with my dad.

Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.

I hope to finish my senior year well, with good grades, memories, and no regrets.

If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?

Don’t take everything for granted, thank the Lord for everything and always trust in Him!

It is such a joy filled time for you, Liana. And I am overjoyed to be able to be a small part of your senior year. I hope it’s as special as you.
