Meet Ashlyn and her sweet dog, Willow. Ashlyn loves chemistry and biology, so naturally she’s thinking about a career in the sciences. She loves to read, she’s very determined, and she’s a hard worker! It’s such joy for me to meet so many wonderful young people! I loved getting to know Ashlyn just as much as each and every single high school senior I photograph.
As a mom of a high school senior this year, I’m walking in the shoes of my clients once again. I told myself not to be too emotional. However, seeing the commencement date on the school calendar required some Kleenex, and the last first day of school had me blubbering all over again. That’s ok! Because this long road of childhood must come to an end at some point. Although it seems to end abruptly in one sense, it’s a wonderfully long journey and a privilege being able to enjoy the years of our children growing up day by day. We’re so proud of you guys!
