Their prayers were answered with a YES! Meet little Lincoln. A beautiful baby boy, weighing 6lbs 14 oz., he has some siblings he won’t be able to meet until the other side of eternity. A family’s prayers in the devastation of losing children to miscarriage are tender, precious, heard, and always fully known! I love that little Lincoln is what they call a rainbow baby, a baby born subsequent to losing one. I’m grateful mom would share this personal part of their lives for the sneak peek because it is such an important part of their family’s story (thank you, E, truly). These lost little lives were oh, so very loved, and little Lincoln is a reminder of this. He’s also a reminder that there is hope, and healing. What a joy he is to his family! Here’s more from Mom.
Did Lincoln come early, late, or on time?
Lincoln came early. I don’t love being pregnant because I have such hard pregnancies and feel sick throughout the whole 9 months. I had a suspicion he would come early because I always felt much farther along than I technically was.
Where did you deliver and tell me a little about the day he was born.
We delivered at Skyridge. I arrived just in time. Lincoln was born about an hour after we got to the hospital!
What does adding Lincoln to your family mean to you
I always knew I wanted to have more than one child. After our first, we lost a couple of pregnancies which was devastating. Lincoln truly is an answer to our prayers.
Describe his personality.
So far he is calm and content. Much less vocal than our first. We are curious to see if we end up with an introvert to compliment our very extroverted oldest.
B Family, your precious baby boy is such a sweetheart. It was an honor to help welcome him and I hope that every moment together is special, and fills your hearts. Enjoy your sneak peek!
