Their work has doubled, but their love has grown exponentially! Meet the L Family. Those sweet girls turn two on Thanksgiving (what an awesome celebration on that day). Although they don’t sit still for long, sweet little G & P have every last ounce of loving care they need from Mom and Dad. I told mom I am a softy for twins! I adore photographing multiples and this beautiful family captured my heart. Here’s more from Mom:
How long have you been married?
We just celebrated our 15 year anniversary in September! But we’ve been together for about 20 years.
What does your family of four enjoy doing together?
We love to explore and travel. Although we can’t go too far with toddlers, we’re always out on the weekends finding new parks, towns and events to check out.
Rob and I use to run a lot and are slowly getting back into it. We’ve done a couple of 5k races recently with the girls seemed to really enjoy it (in their stroller of course). So we hope to make this a family event.
What makes your sweet little girls laugh?
Almost anything! Piper loves it when dad starts to dance and sing. She’ll usually join in with him and giggle the whole time. Grace just loves a good old fashion tickle attack, even if she’s the one tickling Piper.
Tell me about life with twins!
Life changing. Before, Rob and I traveled, ate out, stayed out all night with friends, slept in, and watched football every Sunday. We pretty much did what ever we wanted. Now it’s all about routines, up by 7 am, breakfast, playtime, reading, play dates, lunch, naps, evening walks, and bath time.
Everyone always asks if it’s hard with twins, but we don’t know what it’s like to have just one, so in honesty I have to say no. Sure, something might feel like double the work, but it’s nice we get to do it all at once. I think those families that have kids close in age are amazing because they have to juggle different stages all at the same time.
With all of that said, I have to say I wouldn’t change anything! I’m addicted to this amazing feeling of love I have for them and Rob and this new chapter we have going.
Uggg…that sounds so cliché and mushy.
Describe what your family means to you.
EVERYTHING, they mean everything to me. This family means I get to experience new (good and bad) things with the people I love the most and thats exciting.
L Family, I hope this precious stage is treasured because it will be gone SO quickly. Enjoy your sneak peek!
