Her family’s Catholic heritage runs deep, and she’s inherited a great deal from the past. Meet Marian Rose! She goes by “Rosie” and she’s a doll! She weighted 7.1 pounds when she joined her awaiting family. The anticipation was growing when they finally met her, and now they are simply in love.
Where did you deliver and tell me a little about the day she was born.
Marian Rose was a scheduled c-section on Our Lady’s feast day, The Queenship of Mary, Thursday, August 22. She was born at Rose hospital at 8:14 am.
Describe Rosie’s personality.
Marian Rose is a sweet and peaceful baby, loved by many.
How do big brother and sister like their new baby sister?
Brother M (8) and Sister L (6) absolutely adore their new sister. All they want to do is hold her and be near her at all times.
What does adding Rosie to your family of (now) five mean to you?
I felt a calling to have another baby, while returning home from a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. I asked my husband to pray with me regarding having another child and God has blessed us with Marian Rose. She is an absolute blessing and has brought so much joy to our family.
How did she get her name?
She is named after my paternal grandmother, Marian and W’s (dad’s) maternal great aunt Rose. Coincidentally, August 23 is the feast day for Saint Rose. So she’s born on The Queenship of Mary and the next day is the feast day of Saint Rose.
H Family, it is with so much joy that I reveal your sneak peek. I hope every day with Rosie is cherished as she grows, and that the special place she holds in your hearts will always make her feel special and loved. Enjoy!
