Her summer dress swishes as she’s spun by the one she loves. Her kids play gleefully in the distance, growing up so quickly, yet still full of wonder and awe at the world around them. It is summer, a time to play, explore, and dream. It is the perfect time to capture their family at this stage. You may remember this family as having TWO sets of twins, and being seen here on my blog for a numbers of years now, of which I have lost count. They are the G Family, and I adore them! They are among some of my most charming clients to photograph. And I’m not sure if they are making me feel good or what, but they will all admit to looking forward to family pictures. Awwwwww!!! What has been one of your favorite family vacations?
Our favorite family vacation was our first trip to Disneyland. The girls were 6 years old and the littles were just 2 years old. It was special to see the sparkle of magic and wonder in their little eyes.
How have these sweet ones grown up in the past year?
This year our first set of twins became official teenagers, even though they have been working on the teen vibes for some time. They are growing into beautiful, sweet young ladies. The littles are not so little anymore, but the we will call them that for life. A (the girl little) is a sassy little sweet thing. She is still an excellent communicator who loves to cook and chat with me. I (the boy little) is loving lacrosse and constantly creating and building.
What makes you all laugh together?
Sarcasm is alive and well in our household. The kids are old enough to not only understand our wit, but shock us with their participation. We make sure none of us take ourselves too seriously.
What do you want to remember about this stage (and what would you rather forget) – haha!
We enjoy that the kids are old enough to get out and explore the world more, have meaningful conversations, take care of themselves (mostly), and that they are still youngsters. We could do without remembering all the sibling bickering!
