Parker, Colorado Little Red Head Newborn Baby Photography | Jameson

Meet little Jameson!  He’s adored by a beautiful trio who just radiates their joy to welcome him into their family.  Mom gave me all the details of his arrival, his personality and how much big sister loves him.

Describe your pregnancy.

This pregnancy was very different from my first. The only similarity between this and my first was that I didn’t really have morning sickness. I ran into a lot of different crazy problems with this pregnancy and by the end of it I was considered “high-risk”. I found out I had gallstones in my first trimester. Doctors didn’t want to risk the pregnancy by doing the simple surgery to remove the stones. So I needed to wait it out and carefully watch my diet (which is already difficult being pregnant!). Then farther into my second trimester I was having strange chest pains and heart palpitations. After a lot of cardiologist visits and tests we found out I had a hole in my heart.  That is when things got a little scary and complicated. But I had one child with the same problem (just didn’t know it at the time), so we were hoping to get through it in the same way; we mostly did, and he made his debut 10days early from his due date.

Tell me a little about the day he was born.

I delivered at Littleton Hospital, the same hospital as my first. It was a pretty normal day, we had spent the day outside getting flowers set in our front yard, when my water broke suddenly around 4pm. Because my pregnancy was considered high risk we went ahead and went straight to the hospital, even though contractions were not super bad yet. After a few hours contractions and pain got worse of course, and I should also mention I cannot do epidural because I have hardware throughout my spine. I used IV pain medication for my first child, but I wanted to avoid that for this one so I chose Nitrice Oxide (laughing gas). Of course, I still had a ton of pain, but it helped distract me. And because I didn’t have epidural (my theory) I was only in labor for 9hrs and I only pushed for a couple of minutes, then he was here!

What does adding Jameson to your family mean to you?

It means a lot more messes with a lot more love to give and get.

How does big sister like her new baby brother?

Big sister is in love with her baby brother. She always wants to love on him and see him.

Describe his personality.

He is a growing boy and loves his milk. He’s pretty quiet but very curious about what is going on around him. Still working on sleeping (alone) through the night, but he will get it eventually!

It is with joy that I get to unveil this gorgeous sneak peek.  T Family, may they always remind you of how deeply Jameson stole your hearts.
