Meet the sweetest family from California! I’m tickled they found me online and wanted a session while they were visiting Colorado. Their gorgeous smiles and playful laughs were a joy to photograph. There was a bit of emotion in mom’s voice as we talked before the session. She expressed the love they have for another and how sweet it is to be together since their oldest daughter moved away (to Colorado). There were even a few moments of tears during our time together when they reflected on their love. These are the moments that become etched in our minds and hearts forever, and what beautiful memories and images this family now has!

How old are your girls?
F (the oldest) is 17 I is 14
What does your family enjoy doing together?
Rock climbing, being goofy with each other, hiking with the dogs and traveling
What makes you all laugh?
Memories tend to be what makes us laugh. Recalling something someone said or did and teasing each other about it..such as ‘hahahaha that’s messed up Chhhhris!!’ tends to be the family inside joke. It makes us laugh just thinking about it.
What is it like to be a mom to these two teen girls?
Being mama (as the girls call me) has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I constantly learn from these little ladies. These isn’t a day that goes by I still learn something about what it means to be human, a woman, a mother, a family. It warms my heart completely and I am so blessed to be a part of their lives.
