This sweet couple has been married for a couple of years (almost), but their love story goes way back! What a joy is was for me to celebrate their next amazing life moment, when baby Axton joined their family. At only eleven days old, it seems like he’s always belonged with them. To hold him in their arms and tend to his every cry fulfills a place in their hearts that only he could fill. He’s a pretty laid back baby, and so adorable! Mom and dad were generous enough to tell me a little bit about Axton.
Describe your pregnancy.
Pregnancy was a breeze for the first two trimesters but the third trimester, mom had to deal with some rib/nerve pain which was discomforting but overall, it was a decent pregnancy. Axton arrived two weeks early.
Tell me a little about the day Axton was born/your delivery.
Axton was born at Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville on St. Patrick’s Day. The day he was born followed a long weekend but was a still a bit of a surprise. It definitely had it’s challenges but was extremely rewarding the moment he came into this world.
What does adding Axton to your family mean to you?
Axton is our first child and is helping fill up our new home that we moved into a year ago. He’s the first grandchild on his father’s side and the second on his mother’s side so the entire family is excited and thrilled to have him in this world.
Describe his personality.
Apparently, he’s quite the talker according to most he’s met thus far. He’s very easy to please right now… he’s very alert and enjoys examining each room he’s in and seems to be very fascinated with ceiling fans, even when they aren’t moving!
