I was honored by this special session celebrating love and incredible milestones! Meet the K’s. After forty years of marriage you will agree they look as young and in love as when they were first married. It was my privilege to tell their story through my lens on a recent beautiful summer evening. I’ve known the K’s for longer than I can remember. If I told you of all the connections we’ve had over the year, things like growing up with their daughter, my high school best friend marring their son, missions trips, being co-workers, attending the same church for nearly all of my growing up years, I wouldn’t be able to find a place to stop. But this post isn’t about their friendship to me (although I do treasure it dearly), it’s about THEM, their lives and all the years that they’ve walked together. So here’s a toast to the K’s. Thank you for being an example to those who go behind you of hard work, diligence, commitment, friendship, and the best of all, unconditional love. I appreciate and love you guys and hope that you will treasure these pictures forever!
