Haydyn | Friends, Cheer & What Comes Next

Haydyn is a senior at Mountain Vista High School. She’s easygoing, kind, and confident, with a great sense of humor. She’s also hardworking and creative, which makes sense when you hear about the two very different paths she’s considering after high school: interior design or zoology.

A big part of Haydyn’s life has been cheer. She’s been cheering for seven years and is a varsity cheerleader at Mountain Vista. Cheer keeps her busy, but the friendships she’s made through the years have made it worth it.

For her senior session, we had such a pretty mix of looks. I loved the casual jeans paired with the red patterned top, and the burgundy and white outfit photographed so well against the brick and stone. Then there was that blue floral dress–her favorite and mine!

We finished the evening with Haydyn in a little white dress as the sun was getting lower. It was simple and summery, and such a pretty way to celebrate the upcoming year!

If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?

If I could tell my younger self one thing I would say don’t be scared of being judged because being yourself is the only way to make friends who truly relate to you

Haydyn, it was such a joy getting to know you and photograph this exciting time in your life. I hope your senior year is filled with great memories, new friendships, and plenty of reasons to laugh and enjoy this special season of life. I can’t wait to see where you go next!
