In-Home Nutcracker Ballet Photoshoot with Two Young Sisters in Centennial, Colorado

The magic of the nutcracker had these two young sisters full of excitement as they prepared for their ballet show. Just days before Christmas I visited their home in Centennial, Colorado. The Christmas trees were lit, the nutcracker music played, and the smells of Christmas were in the air. The sisters were dressed in their ballet costumes, ready for their performance and for some magical pictures to remember it all.

The enchanting story of the nutcracker is a Christmas classic about a girl named Clara on Christmas Eve. After receiving a nutcracker doll from her grandfather, the doll comes to life. A dueling battle, a magical forest, a Sugar Plum Fairy, and other characters take the stage while the audience is enraptured by the story. By the end, the nutcracker is transformed into a prince and the story ends with he and Clara dancing. I’m told that the nutcracker music is one of the most recognizable classical pieces in the world. May it’s beloved melodies fill our minds as these two sisters usher us to another world of make-believe, magic, enchantment, and intrigue.

I’m a few days late, but would like to wish all my readers a Merry Christmas, especially these two adorable ballerinas!
