Meet Anna! Her spectacular session was fun, and I enjoyed a variety of new backdrops at a familiar location in Parker. Anna attends Legend High School and has some amazing musical talent and some exciting thoughts about what she’d like to do after graduation.
Here’s more from Anna:
Tell me about your involvement in marching band.
Music is a HUGE part of my life. I’ve been in band for eight years, and this is my 5th year marching. For the last two years, I have been the head section leader of the mellophones. As this is my last year of high school marching, I’m doing everything I can to make sure I don’t walk out of airforce with regrets. That is the worst thing you can do—leave with regrets.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after graduation?
I’m not 100% sure, but so far, I’m thinking of marching DCI for a couple of years, and maybe majoring in music education (i kind of want to be a high school band director!)
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish in your senior year.
I want to audition for DCI, and pass all my classes.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
Don’t do anything stupid.
