Miss Olivia is back! She was here precisely eight months ago as a newborn. You can visit her newborn session here and their maternity session here to be reminded of how much her family loves that they were blessed with one more child a little later than expected.
Here’s more about Olivia from her Dad!
What makes Olivia smile?
So many things make our baby girl smile, from seeing her big brothers running around, to playing goofy music and dancing with her, to seeing any of our three dogs run toward her. She truly is a happy baby, her smile lights up the room, and just like her sisters, her smile is quite captivating!
What are some of her favorite things to do?
She loves to make noises to get people’s attention. She is such a people person. Baby Olivia loves to sit on Mommy and Daddy‘s bed in the morning and play with her toys while they read their Bible. Occasionally she will turn around just to make sure she knows that Mom and Dad are noticing her. She is now sitting up and playing with her toys as well. She loves to take a bath, and watching her splash and wave her arms is one of the cutest things in the world.
How has her personality changed since I saw her last?
She has so much personality now compared to the newborn stage. She is expressing every emotion from joy to humor, excitement, and even recently, she got scared for the first time. We definitely see the, “how dare you put me to sleep now attitude”, these days as well.
Describe her place in your family of eight.
It truly is amazing to see her take her role on with the rest of the family. I think it’s safe to say she’s everybody’s favorite. There’s not one person in the household who won’t jump at the chance to hold her. Of course, with her Dad being a pastor, she is constantly getting attention both in and out of our home.
What milestones has she recently accomplished?
She is now sitting up, eating like a machine, and putting on so much cute baby weight. She is trying to talk, which is the most adorable thing. We are pretty sure she will be like her other sisters, which means once she starts talking…she won’t stop.
What is one thing you don’t want to forget about this stage she is in right now?
There are so many things that we want to cherish about this stage, from the kinds of noises that she’s making, to the way she locks eyes with you and smiles as soon as she sees that you notice her, to the way that she waves her arms up and down when daddy walks in the door. If there’s one thing we have learned from having so many children, it’s that the stages move quicker than we realize.
Olivia and family, enjoy your precious sneak peek!
