Ryan’s back! This adorable baby just celebrated his first birthday. You’ve seen him before as a sitter, and now for his smash cake/one year session! I met Ryan when he was a newborn, so this year of watching him grow has been precious.
Ryan’s mom loves whites. It’s been a theme each time we’re together. I love the subtle mix of greens and blues to add some depth and color. And that sweet smile of Ryan’s just makes this session my favorite so far… although his newborn (not on the blog) and sitter sessions were hard to beat!

Play on the bed and play in the water.

Tell me about how you celebrated his first birthday.
We had some friends, neighbors and family come over to celebrate with us. We had cake for the first time and opened presents!
What are some of his recent milestones?
He is standing on his own and understanding lots of words.
What is it like to be a mom to this sweet little boy?
I pinch myself everyday. I can’t believe I get to be this little boy’s mommy. It is the most fun watching him grow and learn new things.
