Abigail is one! Happy first birthday, little one. She is smiley, social, and a happy baby. Although this year has probably gone much quicker than mom and dad ever thought possible, Abigail has reached many of her most memorable milestones along the way. It is such a joy for me to show off her adorable smash cake and one year session! Here’s more about Abigail.
What are Abigail’s favorite things to do?
Abigail’s favorite things include meeting new people, especially fellow babies, flipping pages in her board books to “read”, and chasing down our very patient cat to give him pets.
What makes her laugh?
Abby’s first giggle fit was over us saying the word buffalo in an exaggerated voice while talking about the Bills. Now she giggles at tickles, peekaboo, and funny dancing.
What are some of her recent milestones?
Abby recently starting moving from object to object while standing. She’s so close to walking! She also will say “woof” when she sees or hears a dog, which is very cute.
What is it like to be a mom to this sweet little girl?
Being Abigail’s mom is the biggest blessing I’ve ever received. My overall capacity to love has grown tenfold. She’s a joy to love every day, even through the teething and general struggles of baby life, but Abby makes it so easy by being so joyful and easygoing day to day.
It’s the sweetest thing ever to be able to remember such a specific moment in time with a one year session. It’s a great honor for me to be a small part of such a big moment. Enjoy your sneak peek, Abigail!
