Seven pounds, six ounces of perfection was added to this family. Meet Ford! His name is Walter, but he goes by Ford for short. Just days old, his family was elated to welcome me into their home to be able to remember what it was like to touch his soft skin, look deeply into his face as he sleeps, and embrace such a tiny little human in their arms. I imagine little Ford will have no problem discovering his place in this family of four as he grows, but for his newborn session he was perfectly happy to sleep without a single peep.

Tell me about the anticipation of his arrival.
This pregnancy was equally has fast as it was slow. Our oldest kept us on our toes and was a great distraction. The month of May was a blur and before we knew it, it was time for our family to become complete!
How was your delivery experience?
We decided to get induced two days prior to my “due date”. He came fast and furious the morning of June 4th. Just a few pushes and he was here. I think I was in shock that it happened so quickly!
What does adding Ford to your family mean to you?
It has been an emotional experience as my husband’s father is no longer with us and we have passed on the family name to our son. We certainly feel complete and I am so grateful and blessed to have two healthy children.
Describe his personality.
Ford is definitely a relaxed and go-with-the-flow baby. He takes his sister’s kisses like a champ.
