It’s been almost five years since their last session. This time, I visited their little farm in Littleton. When mom told me this property was special to them, it was an understatement. For nearly two years they’ve renovated, landscaped, built, replaced, and made their farmhouse a haven of family fun. The family dog, the barn cat, the sweet sheep, and cute ducks all make their home here too. The animals feel like a natural part of the family! The girls work proudly in the garden so they can sell their lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers (and more) at their summer produce stand!
I was told that their modern farmhouse was built to fit in well with some of the surrounding historic homes. It has all the charm of early century country acreage, yet all of the conveniences of suburban life, and modern America. I may sound a little like a real estate sales person – but don’t worry, I don’t think this family will be leaving any time soon. This is home.
As you scroll their beautiful family pictures below, don’t miss the barn sign that reminds them it’s a favorite time of year… summer! Although a farm can be a lot of work, it also teaches the girls that hard work has many benefits. At the end of the day, they all sit on the porch in the beauty of our Colorado summer evenings, sipping iced tea, enjoying their gorgeous mountain views, and of course the BEST part of all… basking in the joy that comes with being in the company of the ones they love.
L Family, I am honored to be an ongoing part of preserving the sweet stages of your family’s life. Thank you for welcoming me to your home! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
