Their little girl stole the show, and we knew she would! Meet the A Family! This sweet family of three chose a gorgeous spot, drenched in the warm sunlight of the beautiful state we live in, Colorado! Those mountains are what we are known for, and they are simply stunning as the backdrop to their beautiful family pictures. I adore that their love far outshines any other element. Baby N just turned one, so that was certainly a big part of the special occasion. It’s also touching to me to realize how every family’s story is unique and for that reason, should be celebrated to the full! Here is a little of the A’s story:
How long have you been married?
M (Dad) and I have been married for four wonderful years. We have fit more life into the four years than we ever expected.
What does your family of three enjoy doing together?
Most of what we do these days is geared around Baby N. N loves to frequent the park, the library, and gets excited about new activities and crafts. M loves to dive into woodworking projects, train for triathlons, and ride his road bike. H (Mom) likes to read, bake, be outdoors and attempt to garden and keep plants/flowers alive. We love to travel as a family and find joy in the small things.
What makes little N laugh?
N tends to be fairly straight-faced, but she laughs at Mom and her funny faces and when Dad chases her around the house. A dog is 100% guaranteed to get her to laugh.
How has life changed in the past year since N joined your family?
N has changed our world and for the better. I do not think there is one thing in our life that has not been changed since her arrival. The way we view the world and the hope that we feel, since she has arrived, is palpable. I am not a morning person, but I have been forced to enjoy a regular wake-up time of 5am, ha. We have also learned that life is not so serious and to look at things with curiosity. N sees the world through a lens of openness, forgiveness and excitement. We want to be more like her; she is an amazing gift.
Describe what your family means to you.
Family is everything. At the end of the day, all I can think about is getting home to my family. Family is shelter, family is forgiveness, family is love, family will stretch and grow you, and family is at the heart of why I do this thing called life. So happy to have this moment captured of our little family of three.
