You can’t get more Colorado than this! This beautiful family moved to our state a little over a year ago. Around that time, their little guy turned one and I had the honor of celebrating with them! See his smash cake session here. I’m overjoyed to have little M back in front of my camera, joined by his sweet family for a family photography session. They requested these gorgeous mountains as their backdrop because this is where they now live, in beautiful Colorado, and I have to say, STUNNING!!! The energy was high, (what session with a 2 and 4 year old wouldn’t be?) the laughter was abundant, and their love for one another was obvious. Mom took a moment to tell me more about their family.
How long have you been married?
M and I met in October 2010 and we pretty much both new right then that we had found our match. We got engaged in July of 2012 and married at a beautiful winery, Garre Winery, in Livermore, CA on September 6, 2013.
What does your family of four enjoy doing together?
We love to do anything to get out of the house and explore our new home state. Lately, our favorite activities are the Denver Zoo, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and the Denver Children’s Museum. As you can see from our session, A and M love to be outside, so we love going to the park and spending as much time outside as possible. We also go to LaMar’s Donuts every weekend as a little family tradition.
What makes you guys laugh?
What makes all of us laugh the most is our family dance parties. A and M both love to dance and they totally encourage each other and think it is the funniest thing ever.
What is the best family vacation you ever took?
Most of our vacations are spent with family in Minnesota or California, but next year we are planning to do either a Disney Cruise or a trip to Hawaii, so we are VERY excited!
Describe what your family means to you.
Family is everything to us and every decision is always made with our family in mind. A and M have brought more joy and love to our lives than we ever could have imagined and we are so thankful for our little family.
