Meet sweet little Andrew and his adorable sister!  This family was three, and they are now four.  Little brother was welcomed into the world in the wee small hours of the morning on the twenty-fourth of August.  Weighing eight pounds, eleven ounces, this healthy boy was greeted with so much love and affection.  Mom was gracious to answer some questions for me about precious Andrew.

How was your pregnancy?

My pregnancy with Andrew was easier than my first pregnancy in some ways and harder in others. I carried him very differently than I carried my daughter. I was more nauseated in the first trimester but had less third trimester discomfort with Andrew than I did with my first. He came four days late and it was so hard waiting!!

Where did you deliver and tell me a little about the day he was born.

I delivered at the University of Colorado Hospital. I went in for contractions and they agreed to admit me since I was four days overdue even though I wasn’t as dilated as they typically like to see when they admit. Labor progressed on its own which was exciting since I had to be induced with my daughter. I had an epidural and was able to relax. When it came time to push he was born within about five minutes! It was just after midnight (12:06 AM).

What does adding Andrew to your family of mean to you?

Adding Andrew to our family is one of the greatest joys and blessings of my life. I feel honored to be entrusted with nurturing him through this world. The whole family adores him!!

Describe his personality.

He is a snuggle-bug and a sweetheart! He cries most when he’s tired but calms down when his big sister sings to him. He seems fairly laid back so far!

It is my pleasure and honor to welcome little Andrew to the world and to document this tender moment for his family.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
