Early is on time for sweet little Ethan! Before the sun rose on Thursday, December 21, they rushed to the hospital. This baby was coming a week ahead of his due date. They were greeted with robust lungs and a sweet personality as Ethan made his grand entrance at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital into the waiting world. He was ten days brand new when I met him. His precious story has just begun and life has changed forever for mom and dad. Maybe the better description is “complete”. Life has now been completed for this family who is more in love than they ever thought possible. Here’s a peek at Ethan’s story.

Ethan Daniel (Daniel is after my father who has passed)
Me: When was he born?
He was born Thursday, December 21, 2017
Me: How much did he weigh?
He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces
Me: How long was he?
He was 19 and a half inches long
Me: Were you expecting him to come early?
Yes, I always thought he would come early.
Me: Tell me a little about your labor
My water broke at three in the morning. We contacted the on call doctor because R and I weren’t sure that it had actually broken. When I called the doctor and she confirmed that it sound like my water broke, we headed to the hospital. At that point I was both happy and scared.
Me: Describe Ethan’s personality
He is a very sweet baby. He loves to move his hands and legs. His smile melts my heart. He is very curious as he always looks around.
Me: Was Ethan everything you expected?
He is perfect and more than I could have asked for.
