It all began in sunny California. She was a traveling nurse and they met at the hospital where she was working. It was sometime in April. Fast forward and now they’ve been married for four years. Their adorable daughter (Baby M) graced their lives nine months ago, leaving this family in love! Meet the H Family…
I had the honor to meet them the day after Thanksgiving when the extended family came for a visit. I asked mommy to share their entire family’s story with me:
“I think the most important part of our family’s story is how we truly love one another and have grown to be a stronger family over the last few years. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and that has made us all look at life differently. Since baby M came along it is apparent to daddy E and I how lucky we are. She is a true blessing and is surrounded by so much love.”
It is the love that gets me every time. To see every family in the world share memories, share growth, share difficulty and share love in spite of all of it is one of the greatest blessings in life. It’s always the difficulties that really draw us close.
Of course, you can’t miss the dogs in their pictures! Scrappy and Denver. This comical duo have some incredible war stories (it was a tangle with a deer that caused Denver to lose his eye). Scrappy was fortunate enough to escape it all without any missing parts, especially since he could have avoided the entire thing but ran back for more in all the commotion.
Even though this family lives far apart, they enjoy the time they can spend together. “As a family now we enjoying doing pretty much anything. Since we all live in different areas we try to get together as much as possible. We really enjoy the outdoors. Since Baby M came along I think everyone just wants to spend time with her.”
Yep! And I can see why. Baby M is a very sweet, happy go lucky, loving baby. Mommy says she is smart and affectionate and has a little daredevil inside of her (from her dad!!). Oh the stories they will be able to tell!
