Newborn Photographer in Parker, Colorado

Meet sweet little Ava Jane!  Born on November seventh, two thousand seventeen, she weighed six pounds, eleven ounces and measured twenty inches long.  Meeting her for the first time was a dream come true.  Mommy shared their story with me.  It was a grueling day at work.  Expecting to deliver closer to home in Parker, Colorado she hadn’t planned on not leaving Presbyterian Saint Luke’s Hospital that day.  Mom went into labor.  It was a Monday.  “I had such a smooth easy pregnancy with no braxton Hicks or anything that I was expecting her to be late. I was thinking about days to induce even. The day before she was due I went into labor at work. I wasn’t quite ready!”

Long into the night, they anticipated Ava’s arrival as the sun eventually rose the next day.  Born at eight twenty six in the morning, Ava was placed on her mama’s chest and the hard labor was over.  I asked mom if Ava was everything she expected:  “Everything and so much more. I loved her more then I could imagine the minute I had her in my arms. We didn’t know if we were having a boy or a girl and I thought for sure it was a boy. What a pleasant surprise when I heard she was a girl!”

Even as we planned her newborn session before her arrival, no one knew if would need blues and grey, or pinks with lace. With lots of boys on her daddy’s side of the family, they anticipated a boy but decided it would be a surprise.   Ava completed their family and came home to mom and dad and two older brothers who will love and watch out for her.

The wonder and joy of meeting your little one is more precious than anything else.  To count their ten fingers and toes… to soothe their first cries… to finally see their personality after nine months of wondering who they will be and what they will be like.  Mom describes Ava’s little personality in this way: “Ava is so sweet and mellow. She has so many facial expressions I love to just sit and watch her. The nurses at the hospital said she has quite the personality for being brand new.”
