Meet the R family! What a sweet trio these three make! As I sat at my computer editing their beautiful pictures, my eyes couldn’t help but fight the tears as I prayed for Mommy R’s physical healing. She is currently fighting cancer with every ounce of strength she has. Her perseverence is amazing, although I know this journey has been long and hard.

Mommy R is better known to many as “Mrs. R” because she is a teacher. Having been nominated several times for awards for her passion and dedication to being an outstanding teacher, we personally experienced the love she pours out to her students when my son was in first grade. She has been by far the most memorable teacher my son has ever had, and now I have the privilege of calling her my friend seven year later. These family pictures were a gift from some past students of hers, and I couldn’t be more excited to share in this blessing to them. I have a verse on my heart specifically for them and would like to share it here.

“[Love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails… And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:7,8,13

You see, there are a lot of things cancer does to a person and to a family. Some very good, some very, very hard. But there are so many things cancer cannot do. One of those things is it cannot cripple love. The love of Jesus is just being poured out to this family exponentially as He carries them through this journey. I will pray non-stop for you, Mommy R (and Daddy R and D too)! Praise God for His faithfulness to you.
