Cooper’s a senior! He’s been playing basketball since 5th grade, and his goal is to make it to the coliseum with his team before graduation. But ask him what means the most, and you’ll hear about his friends—guys he’s been close to since 3rd grade. They’ve grown up together, stuck by each other, and made a lifetime’s worth of memories. Whether it’s a competitive spikeball match, a late-night bike ride, or just hanging out by the pool, they’ve built something rare—a friendship that’s both deep and lasting. Off the court, Cooper is exploring his future with an eye toward business ownership, gearing up to take the next steps toward his dreams.
Meet Cooper: Q&A
Tell me about your close friend group (like how long you’ve been friends and what you like to do when you hang out).
Me and friends have all been friends for about 8 years now. We have grown up together and learned so much about each other. We like to do everything whether it’s going to the pool or playing spikeball or just relaxing.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after graduation?
Right now I’m not fully sure what I would like to do but I’m looking into the business side so that could be a possibility in the future.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
Some of my favorite childhood memories are basketball games with my friends or just going on bike rides late at night.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.
I hope to make it to the coliseum with my basketball team.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that everything happens for a reason and to appreciate every good moment.
Congratulations on making it here, Cooper! From the basketball court to late-night bike rides, you’ve packed your years with so much fun, laughter, and loyalty. Not everyone gets to graduate with the same friends they’ve had since 3rd grade—but you will, and that’s something special. I can’t wait to see where your hard work, determination, and big dreams in business take you next.
